Cameron Landry
Cameron Landry is a former journalism student at The George Washington University, and a current writer for Alchemical Records. He’s shared a passion for music journalism for several years, and focused much of his reporting as an undergraduate on how independent music venues have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Based in Washington, DC, Cameron can often be found at local concerts (and record stores!) in the district.
Charlie Maybee
Charlie Maybee is a dancer, musician, educator, and writer based in Charleston, SC; teaching the Dance Program at the College of Charleston. His primary artistic work is with Polymath Performance Project, an interdisciplinary performance in which tap dance is the primary medium of expression and research.

Derek Evry, a prominent singer/songwriter in his own right, has been a recurring guest on podcasts such as Cover to Cover with Matt Tarka, The Circus Life, DC Music Rocks, and Merlin Public Media. His unique perspective is reflected through entertainment journalism and by hosting his own productions, such as “MONDAY NIGHT MAYHEM.”
Daniel Warren Hill
Daniel Warren Hill is an American musician, writer, and motivational speaker. Motivated to make friends, make music, and make a difference, Hill is frontman for Washington DC area Alt-Rock band YellowTieGuy, founder of Alchemical Records, and serves on the Board of Directors and as Director of Community Partnerships for DMV Music Alliance.
Emma Downes
Emma Downes is a recent graduate of DeSales University in Center Valley, PA, where she studied English and Communication. As a lifelong writer and music lover, she is happy to be incorporating both into her work for Alchemical Records. When she’s not writing, she enjoys getting to know the DMV entertainment scene, drawing, and spending time with her four siblings.

Cynthia Gross is a freelance writer and WAMMIE award-winning spiritual pop artist based in Maryland. Transitioning from a decade-long run as an executive ghostwriter, to the present as a songwriter finding her own identity, she understands the power of each individual's voice to create positive, meaningful change.

A native of New Jersey, Eric Althoff has published articles in “The Washington Post,” “Los Angeles Times,” “Napa Valley Register,” “Black Belt,” DCist, ScreenComment.com and Luxe Getaways. He produced the Emmy-winning documentary, “The Town That Disappeared Overnight,” and has covered the Oscars live at the Dolby Theater. He lives in Fredericksburg, Virginia, with his wife, Victoria.

In addition to her work with Alchemical, she writes for CUA’s student newspaper, The Tower, and has recently been named Quill Editor. Taylor Dakota is an avid music enthusiast from Baltimore, MD, working towards a degree in communications. Having cultivated an interest in journalism since childhood, she now seeks to merge that interest with her passion for music by covering news stories within the industry while staying true to the voice and vision of the artists.
Kimberly Shires
Kimberly Shires is a producer and owner of Hear Me Roar Studio. She is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter who is passionate about empowering women to express themselves through music. Outside of music she enjoys hiking, biking and snuggling with her dog. Kimberly has called the DMV home her whole life.
